Travelling across the globe from Germany to Austria, Malaysia and Mexico, the GSBS 2015 took over the City of Berlin. More than 800 participants with very diverse backgrounds came from all over the world to collaborate and actively contribute to the social business movement.
Beside the main conference at the symbolic Tempelhof airport, a variety of side events engaged the local community.
GSBS main event offered an unique program of keynote speeches, panel discussions, creative workshops, exhibitions, cultural performances and plenty of networking opportunities. The program was designed to share knowledge and to connect with likeminded people, to create new partnerships and to share new social business ideas.
GSBS 2015 set new standards. It was environmentally conscious with sustainable and renewable building material. It was afterwards donated to local NGOs in Berlin.
GSBS 2015 had 100.000 twitter impressions, reached 50.000 people via facebook, created 65 ideas for new social businesses and was constructed out of 90% renewable materials.
